Dear friends, if you would have bought me a beer / a cake / a present for this day, can I ask you to donate that money to our lonely elderly to get through this period a bit easier?

Every year on my birthday I would have gathered my friends to celebrate together. This year, due to the context we will still gather, but each of us at their homes.
So, dear friends, if you would have bought me a beer / a cake / a present for this day, can I ask you to donate that money? It doesn't matter if it is 5 lei, 10 lei or X lei.
Just send that money to those who could have been our grandparents and who unfortunately have other diseases beside COVID-19 and are too scared to go to the hospital these days.
(For sure I will donate a part of the drinks I would have bought for this day. )
I haven't tried this type of action until now...but for sure, it will be one of the gifts that will make me very happy.

Este de datoria noastră să ne amintim că ei ne-au făcut oameni mari!
Prin intermediul proiectului GRIJĂ PENTRU BUNICI ne propunem să ajungem la persoanele în vârstă aflate în dificultate financiară și pate și izolați, fără posibilitatea de a-și procura nici măcar alimentele de bază.
